Agreed. Definitely time to upgrade the intercoolers. The stock ones are tiny. Small and very light. The upgraded ones are a lot larger and heavier

Yep, have the ByDesign IC's on order with the IPD YPipe which fits them. I ordered them last week. I sprayed water on the ICs between runs but you can see on my video that the AP can datalog the IATs along with everything else I needed to understand why my run wasn't as fast as it should have been.

The nice thing about the FVD piggyback was that it didn't make enough torque to cause a TC intervention and so that is why it ran faster no doubt. However, I will go out today or tomorrow to a county road and practice LC with TC off and do some data logging so I am ready to get 1.5s 60ft on Friday.

Agreed. I messed up big time at the runway by not turning off my traction control. That hurt the performance from a dig as I was having traction issues in the morning with the new mods producing too much torque on launch for my PSS tires to handle when the tires and the track were too cool.

If you turn off your TC and get bigger ICs and get r compound tires your ETs will plunge

I think I can do it with the PZeros. My M5 had the same issue with the Dinan piggyback when it was making 700hp. I was able to feather the throttle off the line with practice out on the county roads using my Performance Box. I will be able to do the same thing with the AP because it can do 1/4 mile times while logging all the data. The problem for me is that I would have to buy a pair of R compounds just for drag racing and I don't have room in the garage to store them or a lift to swap them. Even buying a full set for the track would cost about $10,000 for rims and tires and then I have to buy a lift and on and on. More car stuff = more annoyed wife even though I just spent $10k yesterday on her birthday presents at Tiffany's.

You will get more launch traction from Pilot Super Sports but even they cannot match a r compound tire

I can't get any PSS in 305, already tried. You got lucky and got them when they had just produced them. Most of them were bought and inventoried by dealerships.

You can still get them you just have to order them and wait a couple months.

Mine are on order now.
