2015 991 TURBO with Stage 2 COBB tune
From everything I read about The Z06s they're just not made or sorted out well. I know some of the ones that car mags have had have not always worked properly or produced the full 650 hp
But even if the car was working perfectly it would have a lot of trouble with the 991 turbo from a dig it from a low speed launch due to its RWD

You are correct that the Cobb Stage 2 car beat mine once. And I beat him once but that video will never surface unless someone from the crowd independently recorded it.
I also learned from reading here that I screwed up several thing at the runway. I didn't turn the traction control off which I now understand slows down the run a bit. I won't make that mistake again.
I made another mistake. On the run that I lost against the Cobb car I had a passenger who is about 150 pounds (my son) while the Cobb car was empty. On the run where I beat the Cobb car both cars were empty of passengers. The driving force club event is just a fun run kind of event as they're not taking any times or monitoring the start line for jumping and red lighting people. Members regularly take passengers from the crowd or from their friends.
And I made another more mistake. I didn't put my gopros on my car until the afternoon and the runs against the cobb car were in the morning. As a result all the Cobb fans ignore the run where I beat the Cobb car and act as if it didn't happen. The owner of the Cobb car had his camera on his car during the runs as I recall but says the video is not available of the run where I beat him. I suppose it's my bad for not putting my cameras on in the morning.
Once I put my cameras on in the afternoon I recorded every run and posted every one of them including my one loss (to the Huracan--I won the other two or three races against him) rather than just posting
My final mistake is that the second run with the Cobb car (the one I lost) was near the end of the morning and my car been running constantly for almost 3 hours straight. I didn't watch any races from the sidelines (as the owner of the Cobb car said he did) and instead constantly cycled back-and-forth as I viewed it as a fun event rather than a competition. Even with upgraded intercoolers running the car constantly for three hours while sitting in idling for the next run had to result in some heat soak although I did not experience the major heat soak I did in the first runway event I did in May.
The Beauty of the Atco day is that we will have unlimited runs and only about 20 cars to 25 cars which will allow people to have as many Cobb versus GIAC runs as they want.

Correct. We only ran twice and he each won once. At Atco my car will have countless runs against the Cobb tuned cars including this particular Cobb car so we will have a much better and reliable result. I mean I beat a 950 bhp GTR on the runway. He didn't launch well enough and could not catch me. There are many factor other than power that determine who wins especially from a dig.
