These races are from a private event in NY. Takes place on a rented airstrip, which is about 1/4 mile long with very little runoff, so most cars brake at just about the 1/4 mile point. It's not timed. Just a private car club that gets together, share a meal, have some friendly competition, and check out each others cars. So remember, very informal racing between friends. I LET OTHER CARS GET THE JUMP (see below). If I catch them, I have more power, pretty simple.

Here are some of the races I participated in:

1. 997.1 with Softronic tune ( )

2. 997.2 PDK with softronic tune. Not worth posting bc he spun at the start. He never caught me or got in the field of view, so at least they are even.

3. 991 GT3. From a roll. I let him get the jump. ( )

4. 991 Turbo S Cabriolet. From a dig. I let him get a jump. ( )

5. 991 Turbo S GIAC Stage 2+, Champion Intercoolers, Tubi catless race exhaust, IPD plenum, BMC filter, Champion race diverter valves. Username sdg1871. THIS WAS A VERY FAIR RACE. No one jumped, both had "low fuel light" on. ( )

6. 2014 Lamborghini Huracan ( )

About my car:
2015 991 TURBO (not turbo S) with COBB stage 2 and Europipe. On 93 octane. Stock ****ty Pirelli tires. If my Turbo can do this, can you imagine COBB stage 2 on a Turbo S?? Or if I ran race gas?

Note:
I ran back to back to back for nearly 3 hours nonstop. No heat soak. My terminal speed was consistently 130-132 at my brake point.

The flagger jumped in my car for a race. She giggled for like 30 seconds straight. Left a weird fluid discharge on my passenger seat.....anyone know how to clean it??

That's why I asked you if there were other Cobb cars there. You said we raced 3 times and you won 2, however I remember we only raced twice. I beat you once and we" tied" once. Unfortunately this is the only video I have of your car.

BC of where I placed the camera, if I left the window half open while chatting with the next car over, it recorded the door handle and door trim. I have about 5-6 videos like that. Overall I like the placement, but need to be mindful to keep the window closed.

 

Going forward, always hit the air cooled seat functionality to prevent such occurrences. Works wonders for the ladies, ask me how I know.

They didn't give up. It's just a wide angle lens. I figure that way I could keep the other car in the camera regardless of the result. I have video for my front facing camera in the afternoon but all it shows is empty space after the start other than the one run where the Huracan beat me.

 

Your videos were really good in terms of the point of view. I put mine on the front and rear windshield angled 45° forward and back like Longboarder so I can get the angle of the other car regardless of the result.

Indeed. The OP's car makes a lot of power for just a tune and high flow cats. We split our races. Which leads me to believe that we were making similar amounts of power.
