How did our 991 Turbos/Turbo S's do today?

One of my friends who has a supercharged ECS Corvette Z06 said the Cobb/ByDesign stage III design car trapped at 141 mph against him. What were the best traps and timeslips photos? I expected that car to trap in the low 150s. When I was GIAC Stage 2 on a hot day during Slipstream's rollout to reach out at Pocono my best trap was 147 (all my other traps were like 141 to 143 due to heat soak after the first run).

 

I think that car had another issue that ended up getting solved after the event. It was part of the problem the whole time.

Once she is fixed we need to run the cars in Mexico with GoPros. Or I am happy to go to an Englishtown night

I figured there was an issue because 141 was my slowest trap there on GIAC stage 2 with full blown heat soak. First run on GIAC stage 2 there was 147. Couldn't run ECCC because Slipstream stopped allowing passengers and it was my weekend with my son

Great car and great owner! We split our two races at Roll Out to Reach Out. But his car was faster than mine at GIAC Stage 2.

Awesome Rob! You were very patient and had a lot of faith. I appreciate it pal. If not in the nines I think the stage III is a definite very low 10 second car!

Tom, Mitch was referring to the week before at Atco followed by some further testing in between these events.

 

Thanks for sharing looks like a fun event. That 997 was putting a whooping on cars.
