The 991TT's suffer from the same pain. Lots of mid-range and even smaller turbo's that can't get us to the fuel limits although higher on the 991. So far the 997.2 is the leader in this type of race in the US and you have help the torch high bud. Your set-up is pretty much the same to Turbo Mikes but he does not have IC's and is full weight. That will be really interesting to see and then how the By Design car fits in there. We are excited to have a nice venue to stretch the kits legs. Will be fun!

 

Be warned, with a win against your 997.2 platform you will see this "crush" video played on loop for the next 180 days and hourly thereafter.

 

I would be shocked if any of the GIAC Stage 2 plus or Cobb/ByDesign Stage 3 cars are faster than Longboarder's. His car is tuned right to the fueling limit. It is wicked fast. None of the 991s are tuned that high -- yet A more modestly tuned GIAC/Champion 9 second kit 997.2 TTS trapped 148 mph to the Cobb/ByDesign Stage 3 991 TTS's 146 mph at Slipstream last weekend. Longboarder's car is faster than that car.

If I get the upgraded Champion VTGs my car might be faster. But on stock turbos -- no way.

To me, the battle is for second place.

These are 2 different cars. Can't compare a 997.2TT to a 991TT. And Nigel's car is Dyno tuned.

Exactly! That platform is in the 9s already and thoroughly developed. No illusions here.

 

This will be great,we can see 1/4 mile and 1/2 mile all in 1 race since these races are from a dig...

 

I could be wrong but I would be surprised if either the GIAC or Cobb tuned cars can touch that one. That one has water meth and is completely maxed out. But it sure would be great to see a 991 knock the 997.2 off its perch.

 

On This events is like "you race with what you bring" so forget about "stages" and "packg"

Just race and have fun, no matter what the other car have!!!
