I totally understand. That's why I have always stayed away. But four is Vince it's pretty cool to have just as a little supplement. Like a nice kiss from a cold breeze

I am staying away from water meth for similar reasons. And I like a full sized frunk. To me the safer option for lots more power are bigger VTGs. I sure do hope someone gets us an E85 and E98 fueling system
Longboarder and Mark Blackwell, did you guys actually race heads up this weekend at all?
And did longboarder race turbo Mike?

Wonderful! Please share the name of the dealership who will cover ANY damages caused by the modifications.
That's between me and my dealer. Actually they were aware of the install. Also, my comment was a reply to your passive aggressive assertion that only your mods are covered by warranty . In the end , I don't really care what you think.

Someone would have to be pretty mindless to post the name of a dealer who may or may not be willing to cover a modified car under warranty if something breaks. You and I both know it happens and there are many variables in such circumstances such as relationship with dealer, severity of failure, nature of failure, etc. some dealers even install modifications other than CMS gear. There isn't a need to be holier than thou with the warranty comment on a thread about performance and racing. Some people are willing to take the risk when weighing the reward. Same goes for buying track insurance. Regular car insurance doesn't cover you if you wreck on a track but that doesn't stop people and not many buy track insurance.

Well said. If there is a mega repair like a blown engine, whatever the dealer said I would expect Porsche would send its own people and if they do all assurances the dealer gave are off unless they have agreed to provide their own warranty separate from Porsche. This is one of the reasons why I went with Champion as they provide a separate and independent warranty.
I bought track insurance when I tracked the car at COTA (more than $1k for a day for $150k Max of coverage) but not for drag or roll racing.

This is just another attempt to undermine another vendor and company whose product has shown superior results in test after test. This is not about warranty. This is reflective of a bigger issue and I don't take pleasure in negativity of any sort. However, I am a ByDesign customer and own a Stage 3 turbo S car and have had enough of these comments from those who own or sell rival products. Sam is a total gentleman and has remained professional throughout over the past months despite all this. But enough is enough.

Yes I raced Marc a few times. The 20's are a huge impediment for the 991's.
The 991's have zero chance against a comparably equipped 997.2 with 19's. My 0-60's were consistent 2.7 to 2.8 and and 0-100's in 5.8's. On a dusty airstrip where you launch over a slippery painted surface. My buddy with a 665 wheel GTR I let him borrow my vBox he was doing 0-60 in 3.5's.
I'm gonna post my run against the 918 but on a dead even launch I pulled on it up to 100mph.
None of the Cobb 991's asked me to race Saturday. On Sunday I did race the 991 Turbo Cobb with upgraded turbos (Built by BBI) and put 6-8 cars on it. Out trapped it by 8mph.

Yes we raced, my 0-60 horrible all day Saturday. Got a little better in Sunday leaving traction control on. Adam will post vids I'm sure he got me by a mile. That being said here is the fastest 991 turbo 1/2 mile top speed at shift sector

Congrats Mark! Glad to see you picked up speed from Sat to Sun. Shame Nigel wasn't there on Sunday to offer some competition.
