The By Design/Cobb/IPD Stage 3 991TT No (S) broke hearts at Shift Sector- including the highest trap for the day!
Thank you IPD Mike, as an event sponsor, for graciously inviting us to this event!
Hung out with a bunch of great guys and enjoyed some really awesome cars. Spent some time talking racing with both Mark Blackwell and longboarder. Both great guys.
Then it was time to go to work.
I am Extremely satisfied with the By Design stage III. The recipe SamboTT developed with Cobb, IPD, Kline and SRM - on point all day long. I won from both a dig and roll against a GIAC stage 2+ car, a modded Mcclaren 650S and 2 other cars that I didn't pay much attention to.
Sam getting out of bed at 3 a.m. to drive out just solidified the support I have gotten from day one.
Mitch and Jon from Cobb were on standby to review logs but to be honest everything was so rock solid in the stage 3 map, I only needed to recognize the conditions and drive.
I do realize everyone wanted to see how the 991TT's were going to do against each other. I trapped a 164.11 getting the highest mile per hour of the day over the other Cobb and GIAC cars and won all of my races. Turbo Mike also did great with his Cobb/IPD Stage 2 + methanol at 163.5 mph for the next fastest mph 991 turbo at the event followed by the GIAC cars.
I've seen firsthand all of the hard work that has gone into this kit and can safely say that it's not easy to perfect a relatively perfect car and perform at this level. I can also say that I have been extremely happy with the personality of my car with the stage III kit before it even proved itself at the track.
It's so nice in the Cobb AP to be able to view gauges, monitor engine temp, IATs and data log at the same time. I was on my Michelin street tires running 100 octane with great success.
Wait! Someone once said that they would Bow Down....
Well.... Game Over!
By design/Cobb/IPD stage III takes GIAC stage 2+

My Stage 3 should be complete this week and hope to run it next weekend but this same lousy weather may return next weekend. Heading to F1 right now to endure the rain and hope they run some cars. It's cool and wet today.
My pleasure Nigel! Going to watch all the hard work put it down! Hanging out with the IPD crew and yourself! Meeting some friendly competitors that were true gentleman! The smell of race fuel in my nostrils again! I saw old friends I haven't seen in anywhere from 5 to 15 years yesterday. Awesome day! Let's not forget that you did all of that work on the car yourself and it pounded all day long.
Thank you for the new friendship Nigel. Thank you to everyone involved with this package and especially Cobb for all the support. I know what my new goals are for stage 4. Operation stage 4 on your car will commence right after SEMA!

Congrats to the guys... I said it before and will said it again, COBB is the #1 tune tool for your Porsche, combianed with MyDesign packgs??? #forgetaboutit!!! Hehehe
Looks like a really fun day for everyone! Congratulations to all the runners, regardless of affiliation. Competition breeds performance and in the end all of the customers win! Although, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't crawling out of my skin with excitement at the thought of my stage 3 arriving in the mail next week. It's time to deep fry some Pirelli...
Awesome job, Sam and Nigel. I hope to someday contribute as much to the community as you two. Looking forward to documenting my "By Design" upgrades and results.

LOL no silly, with your hardware I'm gonna do my Stg... I will call it Stg WCC lol
I already have your IC's (top notch product my friend) my car came with Fabspeed so I can't buy Kline Exhaust... But IPD and the number 68 are words and numbers that translate to success, I don't know why LOL
