Spark plugs

Any benefit to upgrading the spark plugs on the 991 TT/TTS once modified?

I've been wondering too. Should we be running a colder plug?

We had great luck with the factory spark plugs. The key is always been keeping them young but I haven't seen a reason to upgrade yet.

How young is young? 10k miles? 20k? I wouldn't mind swapping them out while in under the car this weekend. I have 10k miles on mine.

They will last pretty long time. I would call Young under 20,000 miles in high boost conditions. Won't hurt. Actually we can check them out and see what they look like at the different mileage points.

I just changed mine at 30 K mi.
I had Chapion Motor Sports do it and i ask about upgradeed plugs and they said the facotry ones are the best they know of!
