Thoughts on 991.2 turbo S

Looking at the specs for the new car, I wonder to myself if the larger turbos in the tts can be retrofitted into our 991.1 cars? There is also mention of an upgraded fuel system which may be the answer to the fuel limits experienced by modded cars.
Also does anyone think the new slates on the engine covers are downright ugly compared to those on the current cars?

There are already larger aftermarket turbos available so that's not really a huge deal.

The fuel system however could be.

imahobo is infamous around these parts
I was thinking the same thing. The rear engine cover is a turn off, especially for light colored cars. Plus, if my 991.1 came with those scalloped tail lights, I'd be on Suncoast's site looking to buy the stock ones I have now. Much cleaner look in my opinion. Lastly, I don't care for how the rear reflectors integrate with the rear ducts. Maybe it will grow on us in time, but I'm not going to spend the $ to "update" my rear bumper.

I am not into the new rear end look at all. I like the 991.1's TTS's tail lights and bumper more than this new "blocky" look. The 991.1 just looks prettier and more elegant in the rear to me.

Of course would love the new TTS's bigger turbos. More tuning potential. But then again, I should be getting bigger turbos anyway.

Surely Porsche will add an option to paint the slats on the engine cover body colored (more $).

I like pretty much all of the upgrades and changes (save the Macan style taillights), but I just got and spent a ton on mods on my 2016 TTS, which is now about perfect for me.

That I'd lose like 80-100K today (tax. mods depreciation etc...) to have a 2017 with a few more ponies (stock to stock only) and maybe a slightly nicer look except for those (Macan style) taillights, doesn't really light me up...

I have better things to do with 100K than **** it out the window.

I like the rear...but I prefer our front end.

Anyone planning to install the new steering wheels into their 991.1s? I'm tempted, I like the look of the new one in alcantara over my sport design one.

Wonder if this can be done.
