GIAC Tuned/meth 997.2 TTS Defeats Turbo Upgrade/FBO 991 Turbo S with Cobb Accessport
Badass list of parts! Boost Logic does great work as I'm sure you know! Happy to see you chose the Accessport! Since we are the quickest and fastest tuning solution I'm sure it made the decision a bit easier
Not to mention Cobb is the first and only 991 Turbo OBDII based flashing solution in the 9's.
If you have any questions on the Accessport please don't hesitate to reach out to us at anytime!

Of course Cobb is the only one with cars in the nines because Cobb is now working with tuners which have turbo upgrades.
I am sure that at some point in the next few months, Champion and Giac will be out with their turbo upgrade and I'd be shocked if the times on those cars weren't also in the nines.
It will be really interesting to see those cars go at it once they're both out on the road.

It did about 10.05. It certainly would've hit the nines had it not been racing in Atlanta in the middle of the summer in super high temperatures and humidity
Sorry if this is a stupid question, or been asked loads before.... But with the new 991.2, are we assuming the Ecu is unchanged from our current 991 tt(s)? Would a tuning piggy or flash be easy to transfer to the new model? Or do we wait a while for Cobb / Giac / TechArt etc to crack the Ecu and bring out their latest wave of tuning mods, after months of testing?

Jon you are correct that at his point in time the only tuning solution getting our cars in the nines is Cobb. That is only with the turbo upgrade.

No one offers support in the form of an off the shelf map for this particular set of modifications. Not even COBB. The beauty of the accessport is that it gives each individual the freedom to modify their car in whichever way they see fit and using a certified ProTuner, Boost Logic in this case, and a COBB Accessport they can get a custom tune for that setup.
They are no longer hamstringed by the old "black art" method of Porsche Ecu tuning. They can see the data for themselves, make the calibrations for custom part setups, and review customer datalogs.
COBB Porsche Protuners have access to a vast network of materials, training seminars, as well as personal one-on-one training. That is precisely why we are on the east coast at this very moment, to provide our ProTuners with the customer service COBB is renowned for!
What does this all do? It allows us and the industry to accelerate R&D which translates to making cars go faster quicker.
There is a reason all the fastest 991 Turbos in the world are choosing the Accessport and I firmly believe that if you want to chase 991 records you will see this too.

No question the fastest 991 Turbos out there with the turbo upgrades are using the Accessport. I suspect there will be a fierce but friendly battle for those records quite soon when Champion and GIAC unveil their turbo upgrade.
Right now the stock turbo no meth quarter mile record belongs to GIAC/Champion with Mark Blackwell's 10.2. The meth stock turbo record in the US belongs to that Cobb tuned, meth, nitrous, C16 car.

Seriously though, why are we going to make all these stupid classes and stages? Does everyone get a participation trophy on 6speed?
Bring what you have and hope you brought enough.
Guys, all this obsession can stop now.
After extensive big data analysis of all the videos and timeslips, I have identified with 98.3% correlation what the difference is between cars thats impress everyone at the strip and 1/2 mile, and cars that disappoint their owners and drag them into further and further modifications.
Porsche has capped the performance of any car delivered with a red interior. The car will intercede and prevent the car from going faster than a stock black or brown interior car.
The 1.7% anomaly is Will's (wrs) car. I am investigating the GPS settings, hypothesizing that the car is uncomfortable that close to Mexico and is cutting timing anytime acceleration is pointed south.
I expect this answers the questions you all have about performance once and for all, and that your cars will now perform consistent with your adjusted expectations.
