Turbo #5 for me w/some green eggs and Sam Stage 2(ByDesign) at 79 miles :)

I'm back with Turbo #5.... not going to over dialogue about what the car can do stock or stage 2 as its well documented here prior. I do want to let anyone who is on the fence know that I've known Sam for about 11 years (he modded my 03 Turbo with bigger turbos, tune, exhaust, etc...) and has been a friend before he was a modding partner. So when I sold my 14 Turbo S back about 2 years ago and then started to see him rise above, we built a plan. But I kept messing up by buying other cars like the Huracan, AMG GTS, Bentley GT3R and a few choice others. Finally, I found a car I liked and modable; the price didn't hurt at all, so I grabbed it and 79 miles later on the clock it was dialed into a "poor man's" stage 2 via Sambo. Its all I really need right now but I'm sure Ill succumb like so many others (Sam's magnetic love of upper staging) to the quality of the parts, service, and power that Sam has built with so many here.

I went catless Kline with the BMC filters and the Cobb Sam Style tune; un poquito fuego at higher rpms which I like it a lot (Jim Carrey style).

Anyways I wont rant about the improvements as you all know about what
ByDesign's Stage 2 can do but for those on the fence, just f'in do it- simple install and the best bang for your buck around.

Here are pics of my previous Turbo's as well:

Hey Vic55 I'm right on the fence with the Kline catless from our friend. I received the Cobb port this week so next step is the exhaust to get to stage2..
I'm curious as to the sound level and drone in the cabin at highway cruise speed compared to the stock system...I'm actually after quieter or as quiet as possible and really don't want anything louder...your comments on this appreciated..cheers

Welcome back, these cars look so good in white. Love the red on your 997t. Was that custom or PS?

Nanook, I have the full (Manifold and Exhaust) Kline system on my 991TT and it is definitely louder than the stock exhaust. The beauty of the Kline system is that there is "Zero" drone. I have a write up on my review of the system as many fellow members can attest that "no drone" was experienced with their Kline Exhaust. Hope this helps in making your decision......

Even my Kline "loud" has less highway drone than stock.

The stock drone bugged me a *lot*, and Im really glad to be rid of it.

Cheers everyone and thanks for the review Vic! The car sits really nice especially when you can see it right next to the red so good choice. 79 miles damn! Steven just trumped you lol. Installed at the dealership before delivery!

If I can ever help anyone on their decision with details and my "Sambo Guarantee" just reach out!

Its shockingly quiet for stage 2 with no cats--- Drone is very subjective and often gets confused with standard exhaust noise. Ill tell you personally the car is actually very quiet (I'm always in sport or plus = louder) even at freeway cruising speeds (65 to 80) but when you get on it, its a ripper with loud bangles and burbles in the overrun. You will be very happy with this exhaust if you are looking for what Sam calls "Jeckyl and Hyde" system. I didn't do the headers... yet.

I picked up a Kline catless from a member here a few months agor, finally getting around to getting it put on next week. Do you guys get any bad smell?

With catless you will get that gas "smell"... its not super intense but if you leave your car idling for a bit you will notice it if you walk around to the back of the car. I have not had any unpleasant smells inside though.

I love it. Keep baking because all of the cakes are getting sold!

I especially love that through all the hard work customers are so happy they are basically just saying…"Well, you know" Thanks for being such a strong partner in the team Felix and Christian! All of your efforts are so appreciated!
