Turbo #5 for me w/some green eggs and Sam Stage 2(ByDesign) at 79 miles :)
Congrats Vic! Looks like you went with a 16. Makes sense since you're tuning it anyway. I next time I am in SoCal I may come over to hear this exhaust. I know you're a connoisseur so I am curious how aggressive it sounds.
Mit, its the perfect combo of stealth (no pun) and anger... the car really just purrs in the lower rpms but in the upper register its almost violent but in a professional classy Porsche Turbo way. The car does have a lot more burble when you come down off a higher rpm push and the bangs are explosive on up shifts. But there really isn't any annoying drone at cruising speeds (as I mentioned). I personally think the Turbo S/Non S is too quiet in OEM format so this was the perfect match with the tune; non catted for more power and noise along with some 4th of July and all other months fireworks as desired via the throttle.
In comparison to our former Jag F Type R's- that exhaust was almost always on and firing daggers... over the top at times which I think you have alluded to in other forums.
Thank you sir, you make a stellar product that makes sense for both performance and bang (again no pun) for the buck. Oh and the sound- the sound!! I have heard a lot of exhausts on the Turbo S and this is the best IMHO (I know its subjective).
It's a great compliment coming from you Vic. You've had some choice cars with some of the highest quality modifications out there! Enjoy it and let me know if I can help with anything.
