I heard about your car from Tom at Champion. 660 wheel hp on pump plus meth is amazing that is one beast you have there.

The general rule is that the higher the psi the less rolling resistance and the faster you will go. But, the higher the psi also means you will not get as good traction at lower speeds - you may be spinning your tires at the beginning of the race and that can hurt your top end speed. In your case with PSS you might want to try at normal tire pressure for your event. If you can, bring a tire pressure gauge and tire inflator and you can play with tire pressure at your event between runs and see what works best.

When I go to the dragstrip I care about elapsed time instead of trap speed. My lowest ETs have all come with low tire pressure -- about 28 in the rear and 31 in the front. I am going for low ETs at the expense of some trap speed.

Hey Scott I agree with you but he asked about 1/2 mile. Most guys want a higher mph. I would think stock "comfort" pressure from what I remember reading the manual is 36/40 F/R might work best except I have a feeling that will cause more spin than say 32/36 which is what I went down to and seemed to have helped on the launch a little bit.
