Is this really a world record? They've got a lot of fast cars and tracks in the middle east.

What kind of 60' and 1/4 do you need to do this?

Im in that video... but im just a tiny pair of lights in the background.

Cool to see. So was the similar (or same) car that turned into a bit of a fireball a couple passes later.Everyone was OK, but it's a very very expensive sport from the look of it.

these cars back half is wayyyyyyyyyy better than the first half. the ETS GT-R went 244 at this event and just broke 200 in the 1/4 the week before.

This car pictured has more in mods than the car cost. I played this game for a while with a GT-R that went 200 in the half and it's a very expensive game. I had more money in mods in that car than my TTS cost.

and to answer your question Shifter, those lambos don't really 60' that well on the unprepared tarmac, It's all 3rd gear and up. the 60-130 in these cars and 100-150 is mid 2 second range. My 1300whp gTR was fast as **** in the mid 3's.

the guy on the left in the Group pic is Gidi Chamdi. He has a 244 mph Gallardo and a low 7 second GTR. he is trying to get the world record for the 1/2 mile and the GT-R 1/4 mile.

I talked with Gidi at the last event in Coalinga about that, and he said they have a problem with these cars staying together for the 1/2 mile.
