Mission Accomplished: 9's in the 1/4 mile!!!
I personally feel that everyone deserves a second chance. None of us are perfect. E-Gear can step up and do the right thing and if he does, its water under the bridge and time to move on for me.
It would be really refreshing to see this happen. He doesn't need to apologize to me, but he certainly needs to make it right and owes SAM a huge apology!

Sure, he deserves a 2nd chance. Perhaps in the JDM community?

Funny how a man(?) can go crazy with just a few posts. Regardless of the reason why E-Gear did that (probably just pure entertainment) it can't be mentioned enough that Sam is the honest guy in this story and that's what I will do:
I know Sam for a couple of years now. From time to time we chat on the phone. He got my (little) business because of his honesty and because he is standing behind all of his products. I know him as a guy that I would never expect to do anything even close to this.
Please don't confuse this E-Gear guys mental disorder and dishonsty with the vendor who sold him some hardware and/or software that E-Gear is using for bragging and cheating. These two things have nothing to do with each other.

If anyone wants to go comment on the AP logs I posted feel free to do so. He is having some issues with getting the Vbox to log to the SD card but I think it's because he had the newer cards that are too fast or else he didn't initialize the card properly. I any case, the AP data is hard to argue with. He needs a little more road than he has to get a good 1/4 mile in so he is going to have to find that. He doesn't have a county road like I do or a really good road like gmd2003 does. If he did, he could try back to back to back runs. Given the IATs from last night he should have been able to get in several back to back runs but he didn't have a spotter. He is going to get a spotter.
He isn't posting because no one would believe him at this point anyway but to me, people who keep piling on even after I am posting his AP logs should really try to figure out why his AP logs back up his story of a really fast car on minimal mods. I am baffled at the amount of vitriol being posted here. I am data driven and this data convinces me, my emotions are not involved here but there are plenty of people that don't want to look past their emotions and discuss the data.

Think it would be really easy to clear up the vendor's connection in all this if the mods can verify that the IP addresses are from different cities/states?
Yes, presumably they could have a friend living in another state, but it would at least rule out the obvious connection.

Hey guys....I've tried my best to stay out of this thread because....well, it seems like something that would happen in the twilight zone, and not the real world.
That being said, I will just say this one thing. Throughout this entire ordeal, the thought that Sam may have been involved in this charade absolutely never even crossed my mind. And we're competitors! lol

I'm not saying I believe there is any link whatsoever. I noticed on the related Reddit thread, quite a few people believed that OP was a fake account based on thread/post history.
Easiest way to extinguish that flame is for a mod to verify the IP addresses. Takes minimal time and effort, and would go a long way in putting out those flames.

Sambo's account with E-Gears. Just a simple post from a mod that they are in different cities would be more than enough. E-gear claimed to be from Chicago/Texas so should be simple enough.
...Requests join date Nov 2016 post count 2! Have you read up on anything but the drama part? No problem I am open to full transparency everyone. Not because I need to. But because I have nothing to worry about. It has been pointed out to me and it is very true that EVERY post that tries to link me to these fraudulent slips has a pattern of either being a new poster, someone who doesn't even drive a Porsche 991 let alone deal with me or all of the above. Not a SINGLE client is saying they feel I had anything to do with this but do my part. To set up and tune a Porsche. Not a SINGLE client feels that this unfortunate situation from another person mis-lead them into purchasing anything from me or taking my advice/help for that matter. This questionable attempt at disparaging me and my business just keeps at it. Sorry but I conciser myself s Porsche JEDI and my confidence, performance and most importantly service to my community who makes me who I am will only grow. So thanks to you actually. I will keep doing SamboTT! By the way I the mods have more integrity than that.
Second, what does my post count or registration date have anything to do with this? My last cars were an SLS AMG, 991 TT and 458, but somehow because my post count is low my contribution is not valued? Who made you the moderator? You are rubbing me the wrong way with how many supporters you have and blah blah blah. I don't care how many supporters you have on these boards. Wheel Dynamics said the same thing before they got banned from here in 2011 (yes, I was lurking here then as well). You have to realize for every poster, there are dozens if not hundreds of other users who make purchasing decisions based on what they read on these boards. Why would you try to alienate what is probably your largest potential customer base by criticizing their post count? I have spent hundreds of thousands on cars and mods in the past 5 years, did any of the vendors I use ask when I registered on a forum or how many posts I had before accepting my money?
Finally, I have no idea why you would think an IP check would be a bad idea. It would only conclusively establish that you are not E-gear, or vice versa. Nobody would even need to publish the IP addresses, just a simple "I'm a mod, and the IPs are not the same" would be more than sufficient.

First off, I'm not disparaging you at all and I only posted just in case you were not aware, there are a WHOLE LOT OF PEOPLE on Reddit claiming a connection between you and OP. As a courtesy, I suggested that a mod do an IP check which I assumed would clear the record and help you out.

I am trying to figure out from the pictures if there is any way to tell the origin. Apparently most of the programs used to modify pics so they can be posted in smaller format automatically strip the identifying info so that looks like a dead end. In addition pictures received by text and down loaded to the computer are stripped as well.
