Turbo S vs GT2 RS - motor
SubscribeI don't want to give up the interior and all wheel drive of the TTS, but more hp, especially with factory tested and proven parts, could make for a more interesting driving experience.
Given that, does anyone know the complete list of changes from the Turbo S to the GT2 RS (water cooled intake, etc.)? It would be interesting to determine how many of the go-fast bits could be added to a 991.2 TTS...

...and beyond.

Agreed. If you wanted all the factory parts I’m not sure they’d even sell them to you. But the aftermarket can get you farther.Originally Posted by Nanook

I’d be interested to see the parts list differences though.
The idea is to try to use oem as proven reliable, we already know the aftermarket options and what they do.
One info I have found myself on porsche website, seems the gt2rs has lower compression ratio 8.x if remember right.
Guess should have also a boost in ignition timing when using water injection.

Can you get any part numbers yet? Might be a year before it’s easy to do a side by side comparison.Originally Posted by Fadi

Hey guys...Cheers
The RS is a a completely different animal. Compression is 9.0 vs 9.8 and it runs up to 1.7 bar! Injectors and charge intake revised. Water is sprayed on the Intercoolers for cooling and they make about 680hp to the wheels stock. It may be very challenging to get the parts from it but we are working on it for observation. Part numbers available but parts not so much haha. The compressors are 67mm with a larger turbine and exhaust. The .2 cars all do have better heads, more fueling capacity and even updated turbine aero and metal composite. We have a few 991.2 TTS cars running full E85 finally!

On stock turbochargers (.2TTS) at Stage 3 we are getting 650-670 hp and tq so far being tested
