SO H&R Springs are lower but ride the ride is comparable to Techart springs?
Not per my research. Everyone says the H&R's are stiffer and the TechArt's ride better.
One guy however will say H&R rides just like stock (lol) and another, say they are much stiffer.
Therefore, YMMV of course.
To me, it looks like H&R are also a tad lower than TechArt.
Per my research, the TechArt's are the best looking drop and best riding (for owners that can accept having their car that low...albeit being "TechArt", like everything else they sell they are overpriced). I found a new set of TechArt's for $575 and jumped on them.
Let it be noted that TechArts are made by Eibach, although Eibach makes them to TechArt specs. I have heard Eibach's ride very good and they are a fair amount higher, for those that can't have the nose as low as TechArt's or H&R. Only issue with eibach and why I stayed away is the front and rear gaps aren't even. 10mm in front and 20mm drop in back. I don't like that raked look with the Eibach's. Another guy made a thread and complained about that gap difference front to rear bothering him. I think it would bother me too.
IMO, go H&R if you want the car low and need to do it more cheaply. TechArt if you want low with the best ride quality. Eibach if TechArts and H&R are too low for your tastes or needs.
