I wanted to show the Turbo above because it's a new twist on the idea of the wheel setup where you allow the brakes to pop & add the desired contrast.

I have a few of other ideas as well, give me a call you know the number

Thanks.

Brushed cleared and polished cleared appear to have pretty much the same result to me.

I like gloss or charcoal.... it’s dark enough that you get the contrast against the white and it also makes the calipers “pop” a lot more without losing the details of the wheel in the cameras eye.

Also, satin or matte finish (whether black or charcoal) will also allow you to see more detail in the wheel itself without picking up all the reflections around it and blurring the lines. In effect, the wheel shape and cuts will become more apparent.

Fast as hell and then docile like a Camry when you want it to be. Definitely too quiet for my tastes. The 991 feels very different in the torque, the way it puts the power down and in the fast PDK shifting. Not as fast as the 996 at the moment but close. So smooth in the power delivery and gear changes. It's also way more stable and forgiving at speed. 120mph in the 996 feels like you're doing 120mph. In the 991, you feel like you're going 100mph in comparison. I can't wait to have more sound and power out of the thing. I already have goodies on the way to fix that.

I can tell I'll miss the more raw, analog, visceral feel and sound of the 996. My 996 was a beast and also sounded the business. I'll miss rowing gears. At the same time, I'm comparing a built 996 hot rod to a bone stock modern 991. Apples to oranges.

In summary: Definitely a whole new level with the 991. You also lose certain characteristics and feel of the older car. Some of what I'll miss. With that said, once the 991 is louder and even faster, I think I'll get over it all pretty quickly though.

Enjoy the car, it's beautiful...call Sam he can hook up with the performance parts and the wheels!!!
