Official Porsche 991 Press Releases

Found the press from my local Pordche websit this morning. From the press the launch of the new 911 models gets under way on 3 December 2011. Prices in Germany are 88,038 euro for the 911 Carrera and 102,436 euro for the 911 Carrera S, including 19 per cent VAT and market-specific equipment.

Can check below for your reference.

Thanks for the info pratas.....I'm not in love with the rear but it's not as bad as I feared. I'm not suee about the interior either. I think I'll keep my 997 for a while!

I want to see a few things:

1) Pic from behind, not off angle, to see the stance and shoulders. Wondering how strong the rear view appears and how much better the WB might be.
2) Front view, again not off angle.*
3) Interior in a different color than beige. Sorry, not a beige fan for car interiors. The renders have been great, but interested in seeing the real thing.
4) Interior with painted accents that we now get (painted to exterior color)
5) Available exterior color palette
6) Wheel options
7) Interior w/ Manual transmission*

I guess what I want to see is the Configurator. None of these initial images really catch my eye, but wondering if different configs might change that.

Check with your local dealer, actually my dealer is now accepting deposit for the quota allocation.

991 Rear

Looks like I'm forced to wait for the face(rear)lift. Not a pretty sight.

The 991 catalog might be helpful with some of this, albeit in German.

You guys are a bit sensitive, no?

Most people couldn't possibly tell the difference. Add to that the fact that the 911 or any Porsche car except the CGT has never exactly been Ferrari/Aston Martin in looks.

Can't get much worse. So long as she drives like a P-car, thats all that matters right.

What?

How/why would a Porsche look like a Ferrari or Aston?
Tell the difference in what?
Worse?

Strange...

Exterior chrome trim around windows is a cool option... reminds me of my 1968 911. That alone has me sold on the new look and will get me over the akward parts like smaller rear windows and Aston rear look and weird engine cover cut lines
