PRS 7 is infamous around these parts
That's the "catch" with the 991. To myself, the 20's look a touch tiny and 21's look a touch big. Either looks good and it's a personal thing. I would still go 21 with a nice and classy wheel such as these.

Those would go with just about any color. I think on a red car would look really nice. Black too since I'm not a big fan of the all black look. Contrast is nice.

Good job.

....clear markers.

I knew someone would do a 21 on this car. It seems to be able to handle it. Not fond of the wheels design but the size is fine.

Don't get me wrong... I really like the wheels.... just the combination of them with the rotors looks absurd... maybe on a Porsche with a decent set of rotors they would look better?

The wheels are just plane too big. I get it, they are 1" bigger than stock. At one time 1" bigger than stock was a normal upgrade. Now that the standard is 19", I think those days are behind us. 21" is too big and they look too big.

The wheels themselves are fabulous and I think would look perfect on a 991 with slight drop and in 20"....

i still like them a lot, 21" make the rotors look smaller but at least you get a crystal clear view on the beautiful red calipers.

Wheel design looks great but I think that if they were 20's it would look better.

Returned from Sebring late yesterday. Now that I've seen the car in person, a few takes on the wheels:

The 991 is larger than the 997. We all know that. With that in mind, the 21's are absolutly perfect in size. 20's look good, but 21's look great. The rears are slightly concave. Awesome.
These are offset just a touch out from stock wheels. Makes the car look even better.
I chose the gunmetal color because my wife doesn't care for black wheels, and the car is hers.
I love the view of the brakes. You can see more of em. A few have commented that they look small, but I'm not seeing that in person. I guess it's possible to have that comment, but Porsche makes some of the largest on the market, so they can't be small. I think I like a little clearance as opposed to the brakes being crammed inside the wheel and being too tight. That creates a little anxiety if something were to happen with debris or a small rock or something.
With the wheel larger, I get to see and clean everything inside. That makes it look professional. Nothing dirty now.

In person, these wheels are bad ***. 21's were THE choice hands down. Thanks to Modulare for having them done for the launch. Awesome wheels.

The car wears that size pretty well actually.

But I'd still rather see the car lowered on a set of 18's or 19's. If it wears those 21's well I hope it doesn't make the more practical sizes look way too small.

I'm afraid that's gonna be the case. Or at least how I see it. 20's are probably as small as it should take. Lowering would be cool, but this is a chick car so that won't happen.

I like it but think I would prefer 20's. I bet some business for guys will hurt because off the bat some people will just buy 20" wheels and mount them on the stock rubber because 20's are big. I hope not but I can see it hurting you a little bit. The color and design are perfect for whits. I love the porsche center caps too. BIG thums up.

Bigger is not always better when it comes to wheels. It looks like a donk.
