By deduction this release date would be applicable for all NA dealers... so you lucky guys with a C4S at the port... IT'S COMING!!!
That's a hell of a "BTW" lol.

Good news! Hopefully they will all be released at that time. The next question will be when the dealers will be allowed to put them into service. They may still not be able to turn them over until the new year, but at least they will be closer and ready to be delivered on 1/1.

Thanks for sharing, Sid!

Thanks for the post Gregor... I missed that one!

I really need to drive the base model as well as the S before making a final decision. I have read extensively the posts and driven the C2S on a track and loved it but the C4 maybe a more practical choice. The C4 will definitely free up funds for more options. Decisions, decisions...

I am open to suggestions. By the way, it will be a DD with occasional track events. Sorry Psycho for hijacking the thread.

No worries, it was a good post (video) and I think quite a few are considering the C2S vs C4...

I think that the extra weight from the awd + the extra power required to drive 4 wheels instead of 2 is going to have a noticeable impact on the performance/feel on the C4 as opposed to the C4S.

I found there was a real difference in the drive between the C2 vs C2S... they just feel different.
Both are shockingly fast over 4000rpm but between the extra torque, hp and deeper exhaust note I really preferred the S... I imagine that difference in feel is going to be even more evident between the C4 and C4S.
But it's all highly subjective, so who knows... guess we'll have to drive them back to back to really find out.

And I thought that we already established that people from Amsterdam do get excited from looking into windows!

Seriously Sid, I am glad your torture is almost at an end!

Actually the Dutch are on the inside looking out, uhhhhm... hey wait.... that didn't come out right!

OK just as a "tourist tip" for my fellow 6speeders... most of the redlight district in Amsterdam is actually a tourist trap, like Disneyland for adults.
But truth be told the whole thing is disgusting... from the streets, to the condition of the houses to the "girls"... gives me shivers just thinking about it brrrr.
Horrible, just horrible!

If you want to see the epitome of red light districts (on your next Euro delivery... hey don't laugh, men woman and couples will visit it just to have seen it) go to The Hague (Den Haag) it's only a few streets but very, very clean, manicured lawns with flower arrangements, contemporary designed promenade "store" fronts at street level and the girls are something to behold... they all look like Victory Secrets models right of the runway (some even have the wings!) and most speak 4 languages... classy, sexy and well educated!
So if they say "I'm putting myself through University this way... it is actually true, no really!!!

The reason this redlight district is like no other is because The Hague is where the Parliament is, the Embassy's are, where the entire Royal family lives, the international Court of Justice is located etc, etc. and since prostitution is legal (and taxable!) it is governed, maintained and regulated by the City (gives the Parks & Public works department a whole new meaning hehehe).
As such it reflects the overall higher standard of that city, not to mention the type of clientèle...
Oh and there is extra large parking spots so that the row of Land Rover's, Bentley's, Benz's and 991 C4S's don't bang their doors hehehe.

LOL I did bring it back to the C4S didn't I !?

Just stumbled across these online this afternoon. And by "stumbled across" I mean found through obsessive google searching.

This is the same exterior combo as what I have coming in:
