The RUF-RT35 is a 991TT
i just wrote them an email but one thing i noticed:
991CS, 400HP, CO2 emissons: 224g/km
RT-35, 630HP, CO2 emissions: 268 g/km
997.2 Turbo, 500HP, CO2 emissons: 272g/km
which would indicate that they didn`t swap the 997.2TT engine into the 991 chassis, cause the RT-35 makes 130 ponies more and emits less CO2 than the 997.2TT.

yeah i am starting to believe you.
i just looked up the CO2 numbers for the 997.2 TTS which are surprisingly lower than the ones of the 997.2 TT
and it´s exactly what RUF claims for its RT-35.
RT-35, 630HP, emissions: 268g/km
997.2 TTS, 530HP, emissions: 268g/km
and that is surely no coincidence.
RT-35 -> 997.2 TTS on roids

Very nicely done on all quarters. Subtle, but brutish.
Color is awesome and the body work fits the car. Yes, perhaps a 997.2 TT motor and all that, but Porsche should take notice for the on coming 991 Turbo.

got an email from Mrs Ruf last week:
RT35 delivery time now is July- august 2012 model year 2013. For the RGT 8 the delivery time November - december 2012 model year 2013"
RGT8 base price is about 230k euro

That looks like quite a machine. I agree that the color matching wheels are a bit much (an this coming from someone who has color matching wheels). It almost looks like army green to me -- just needs a little camouflage. The side intakes look a little hazardous. I can imagine stuff falling in there by accident.
There's a very interesting article in the December Excellence that says it's:
1. A 997.2 derivative engine
2. 3285 pounds
3. 630 SHP at 6500
4. 693 lb-ft
5. 0-60=3.2 seconds
6. Docile and tractable as a showroom stock 911
7. Pulls nicely from 1100 RPM
8. Uses the new electronics (and I suspect the new injectors)
9. Lots of challenges including the CAN-BUS integration (2 bus generations)
10. No aero issues at speed
11. Down-force (pounds): 121/99 front / rear respectively at 200KM/hr.
There's the marker for Porsche (and a sneak preview for us).

WOW, I'm just coming across this for the first time ! This is surely a beast for the folks who cannot wait until later! What's the price for this beast? BTW, it doesn't look like a wide-body...right?

Perhaps that's reflecting 991 platform's stability ! Btw... tts does 2.6sec 0-60...I guess that's awd stickiness given its heavier than 991S?
