I know it's a purpose built design, and a rendering... But that is one hell of a way to cheapen what looks like a decent car (even if I'm not partial to the 30 yr old 911 design).

 

when i first saw/heard of RWB, i thought: OMG, wtf is this??
somehow i have become a real fan.
whether you like his creations or not, the guy knows his stuff and he is 100% dedicated to what he does:

 

I love his product on the older models but not brave enough to do this on the new 991

If you're going to make a 991 a track inspired ride, I think this definitely looks the business.

 

Maybe this is what I'm thinking. I love the 993's, for example, that may be because I do not view them as a luxury car, but rather a sports car. The newer 991 looks more refined, and doesn't look right with all of the rivets and Supra style widebody panels just yet.

 

As a track inspired unit it looks perfectly fine, but it would bring about some raised eyebrows as a street car....as in raised like wtf's going on here....? You may be able to pass it off better in certain countries....dont know.

Yeh well it'd take a special type of jockey to be brave enough to drive something like that around on the street. I guess the driver would wear a fruit box over his head with a couple of holes punched out... To save any embarrassement...

 

exactly, if you`d drive such a beast over here in germany on public streets, most people would think: another attention seeking wh**e!
but hey, who gives a f*** about other people`s opinions.

 

I think it won't be too long before we see there types of body-kit/variants on the track... I read that the first 991 GT's rolling of the production line are slotted for the Flying Lizard team.

Can't wait to see what they're going to do with it!

 

yeah and as you can see, the good news is that the GT models should look awesome. i mean even a gigantic RWB wing looks killer on it.

 

Well the Japanese are notorious for having a big wing fetish. It's goes with the cult.. So get ready for some serious wings on 991..

I can't wait to see the 991 RSR, I'd like to see those influences on future RWBs.
