They say something to that effect and there is a setting that causes the Burmester to adjust the sound according to what it is hearing/detecting in the cabin. In practice, though, with PSE on and so much as a window cracked the audio quality is very compromised. Its still the best audio system I have ever heard in my life, but once the engine starts singing there is only so much the Burmester can do to create a pristine audio environment.

I got the same as u!

The main problem is THE DRIVER'S door. Reverberations and vibrations. At not high levels of sound or bass! Frustrating.

My old BMW with base stereo was years above.

Unbelivable. I'm bringin' today my car to the dealer because of that. We'll see what they can do with that problem. then, i'll let u know.

Finger crossed.
Sorry you are having the same issue. I will tell my dealer that I am not the only one and you do the same.. Maybe someone will notice. Good luck!

Picked up mine today and I have to say that the Bose system sounds pretty good, much better thanthe Bose system in my 997.2. I have not had any rattles of unusual sounds and I did try some pretty loud volume settings.

That sounds right, but why would you worry about that - if I have PSE on (and I did not get it and don't regret it), I would not be worried about the sound quality of anything but the car. With PSE off, then I would worry about the entertainment system quality of the bermeister (i did not get it and I DO regret it).

Mmm...don't think so.

I think my problems are linked to a bad or not so good assembly of the door components, not the stereo (that is not so good anyway...).

My car is still to the dealer, and they have to give me back this evening, then i'll tell you. If things won't be solved (as i think ), i'll take my beauty to the stereo guy...

u should be only hearing the engine & exhaust. the best sound system option is PSE. hopefully u have it.

Hi guys!

Yesterday evening i picked up my car from the dealer after the driver's door problem: he says that he dismounted the door interior to check up all the things and found a screw (with a plastic thing) that was mounted on the opposite side (down under...i'm trying to explain ).

Anyway, he thightened evrything and expecially this screw and now THINGS ARE AS GOOD AS PERFECT! My mechanic done a GREAT JOB!

Now, stereo speakers too seems to stay more blocked inside the door, providing me with a much more good sound and without all that vibrations at bass frequency!!!

Congratulations! Even the Germans can have a screw loose once in a while.

Out of nowhere over the last week my 2 month old July 2013 build has the same problem ! Bose, and an awful rattle with certain music that could only be expected in a 66 Mustang ! What the heck . If I push against the door it stops. NOT HAPPY
