Looks incredible !!! I seriously contemplated the 991 Turbo but in order to buy it I would have to sell my modded EVT700 car and I just can not do it . I love that car !!!

So the 991S will give me a a taste of the new car .

 

yeah, i heard that too, but Autobild and auto-motor-sport beg to differ, we`ll see.

P.S. like the 7th gear in the new manual, this wouldn`t help so much in terms of power output but fuel effciency and responsiveness.

 

Are the turbo and turbo S going to come out simultaneously? B'coz last time the turbo S came at the end of the 997 cycle. What will explain the difference in hp? Both 3.8 turbos, some boost again? Basically the S is supposed to be a fully optioned turbo, with stuff like ceramics brakes, pdk, chrono etc. standard.

 

i don`t expect the TTS to come out as early as the TT, but maybe it´s coming earlier than the 997TTS. before the TTS we will see the GT3 and GT2 imho.

 

I spoke to someone at PCNA and was told it is coming "sooner than you think" when I guessed 2 years. He hinted at next Fall.

 

Looks like a fantastic package, but is it just me or do those fog lights on the front bumper look like a couple unsightly warts? I am expecting some hair to grow out of them too?!

 

Just camouflage, same goes for the air intakes.
There will be intakes but the shape will be different (supposedly more oval shaped).
We'll find out soon enough... I hope!
