Thanks to you guys, the wonderful 6speedonline community, i've made some haaard decisions and finally placed an order for an SCab.

It took me weeks to decide on the color, swinging back between:
Basalt Black, White, Dark Blue Metallic, Racing Green and Arctic Silver/Blue

In the end i chose something a little unusual black + espresso interior, black top but took out the silvery bits and replaced them with carbon, + black painted wheels.
this way i should have a 2 tone car (black & espresso).

Thoughts? Build below...delivery 2013 model in July / Aug

Anyone is free to order what they want, but my hat will be off when I see a bare bones order. Most orders I see are so laden with gadgets that I wonder if there's a sports car underneath.

 

agreed, but if it's a daily drive, or you expect to have some long weekends away....what's great about the new 911s is that you can switch between sport and comfort (put PSE on, top down on the way to LA and upon return top up, Burmester on)...

Hey Alexcalifornia, did you get your basalt/espresso cab yet? I just ordered that exact color combination for my cab, which is being built in October. I think I'm set on the color combo, but as I've never seen one up close, and since I have a month or so before it locks, I'm second guessing myself and wondering how you like it? (And if you happen to be in NorCal, maybe I can come for a look... thanks for any info...peter

 

Great color choice! I think black is just timeless. You will love Burmester!

 

It seems to me that you should be ordering a ferrari. But perhaps you already have one or two of those in your garage.
As far as your build, it seems to have just about every thing. Congrats and enjoy your drives.

I love your build and frankly speaking mine will also be quite loaded. Porsche gives us the amazing ability to do this to our cars and make everyone so individual. Congrats and make sure to post lots of pics!
