Carbon fiber "taped" over original parts???

IMHO, carbon fiber is amazing, light weight, strong.........................Double stick taping over stock engine parts??? Can you say P-O-S-E-R ?

Seems weird to spend money for CF look and not lose weight ?

Why not buy a Monte Carlo SS with all the stickers and badging

Have to agree. Does not look bad, but form needs to meet function (or the opposite in this case).

okay forget the weight advantage but i don`t see a problem at all.
if you got the money laying around, why not?!
it looks much better than the plastic cover and it gives you something to drool over,
i mean there is nothing else that looks great about the engine.

This would be cool. At least have something to show other than plastic and two caps when you pop the boot at the local coffee and cars.

Nice, anything for 997s to replace the carpet behind the rear seats with a clear glass to view the engine?

How about a carbon fiber factory style front lip and rear diffuser?
