id say later than 2014, it's usually when sales start to decline, hence why 997 GTS was 5 years after inception.

2013=AWD vehicles
2014=GT3/Turbo
2015=GT3RS
2016=TurboS/GTS/
2017=Other BS editions to use excess part
2019=New 911

That's probably pretty accurate. Meanwhile, you can 'build' your own GTS, starting with the current S and adding aftermarket upgrades as they become available. It is the path I am following.

 

Lol. When you take a step back and think about it, Porsche has this down like clock work.

 

If its gonna take that long, I guess they are on a different timeframe with the Cayenne? The GTS came out in the 3rd year (2013) for that vehicle.

 

Porsche typically introduces GTS when there's a refresh due and sales drop in anticipation of the refresh...

 

Did Cayenne sales ever drop? It's my understanding that most of them are sold before they get here.
