You can fit three across in most cars, so hopefully be a good fit in the 991.
stalker, lmk what you think about the cleks. going for the oobr or the ollie? considering both for my 3.5yo.

for the others on the thread, they make a rear facing seat too, but not sure it will fit in the 991...i'll try to find one in my area to test out....

The question here is can a 'rear facing' car seat fit in the back of the 911. One that will hold a child that is under 3, or too small to be forward facing. We all agree that a forward facing seat fits fine in the back seats.

billkam is infamous around these parts
You are right. I was talking about forward facing seats. Rear facing I would actually not reccomend at all since I do not believe there is any seat that it would fit and be able to tight it safely for the child.

Im going to get the one in the link I posted, my son is 2.5, so he will be in the seat for while, plus I can use it for the next one.

My local store had to order it, was on backorder.

Installed the Britax Marathon today, rear facing. Overall it seems to fit fairly well. Can't really fit anyone in the front seat, but that was expected. It doesn't seem to take up any more space than the Chico keyfit 30 did. I will likely remove the seat back, so that he has more room for his legs. This will work fine for the next 6 months or so until we change him to forward facing. The seat even matches the interior. My son sleeps great in the car, so nap time has become a great time to rack up some break-in miles.

That looks good. You have a newer version of the Marathon then I do as the seat bottom on mine is too wide to fit in the seat. I removed the reclining base and now it fits, but I only tried forward facing. Maybe I can try rear facing and have it sit a bit more upright since the bottom is off.

Yes, there are seats that can fit rear facing but are a complete pain to get the kids in and out. See my previous reply.

Not sure about recommended by Porsche or not but there are several seats that fit in the back rear-facing. It is just a pain. Again see my previous reply.

Looks great. This was the seat I use in the rear of mine. He was a really big kid so getting him in and out was really hard for me. Good news was that he was able to move to a forward facing sooner.

I now have him in a forward facing 5 point on the passenger side and my 5 y/o daughter in a booster behind me. A little tight for her feet but she likes riding in the car.

BTW. I like the poster on the wall

So this begs the question, but haven't seen a solid answer.

For Front Facing rear seats on a 991, which brand and model fits best?

These are the Diono Radian RXT seats. I have one and they are perfect for the 991. I am getting my C4S in about a month and I have the Sunshine version on my E90 M3 and it is the narrowest seat we could find. This seat will be transferred with a new cover to the 991 when it arrives.
