Question about my 991 cab

When I put the top up in my 997 cab if I continued holdin the close top button all the windows would close. In my 991 this no longer happens. It is very annoying. I have to switch to rear windows close those and then close front windows after holding the close top button for 15 seconds plus a few extra seconds to make sure it really closed.

any fixes or tricks to get it like my 997????

I think you might have a glitch. When I hold the close top button the top closes + all the windows (not just the front).

My 991 cab did the same thing... for about two weeks. Then it fixed itself.

On my Cab only the right side had the problem. Left side worked like the 997.

Very strange.... no problems since.

Mine works this way also now, though I think it might have been acting a little strangely at the start.

Mine is doing the same thing. Has not "fixed" itself yet?

I would try calibrating the windows when the top is up. That might fix it. I forget the exact procedure it might be in the owners manual.

Took it to dealer today after reading others weren't having the problem. They said cars that shipped early needed a software upgrade to get it to work properly. I was in and out in 15 minutes.

Mine fixed itself... maybe after a few operations.

Try cycling the top a few times.... with engine on and off.

Just my 2c.
