991 First Service
I would prefer to take my car to the dealer for the service so they can install the software updates and let me know if there are any faults, but it's pretty hard to justify the $400 increase. You think the Bay Area dealers would compete, but it seems more like price fixing.
Took my car in today for 2 campaigns and 10k service. I tried to cut my expenses by doing my own oil/filter change (which was easy) and asked them to shut the service notification message off and they stated that would cost $67. Boy, Porsche and these dealer really know how to bleed you. And to think, one of the campaigns is to reprogram the PDk so they're in the computer anyway. Can't wait to see what other charges they come up with at Danbury Porsche.
