New 991Carrera S owner - first porsche
Hi everyone!
I took delivery of my Basalt Black on Black 991 Carrera S. SPASM, PDK, Sport Chrono Plus, PDCC, 18Way Adaptive Sports Seats Plus, PSE, Power Steering Plus, Folding Mirrors, Front+Rear Parking Sensors, Steering wheel with Paddles, Keyless entry and start, Porsche Dynamic Lights, Heated and Ventilated Seats, Bose, Tyre Pressure Monitoring, Voice control, Sunroof, Light Design Package, Porsche Crest on head restraints, and Coloured Porsche Crests on wheel caps.
My first Porsche and I'm in heaven!
I have learnt a lot on this forum and hope to learn more. Hope all of you enjoy your cars in good health.

Thanks everyone. Pics are coming. Weather was bad this weekend so I'll try and get some photos in clearer weather. My impressions so far
1) The best handling car I have ever driven...nothing in the M stable or from AMG comes close. They are the two brands I have most experience with. Better to drive than F430. I havent sampled the Italia yet.
2) Acceleration is awesome. The PSE is heavenly!
3) Braking is the best I have ever experienced....I have the normal Carrera S brakes not the ceramics.
4) I find Engine/PDK set to sport the the most suitable for daily driving. I also set the suspension to Sport. I prefer a stiffer set-up and feeling the bumps never bothered me
5) Havent sampled Sport+ yet! But on a previous 997.2 i drove it was ferocious so I cant wait to let it rip a bit!
6) Bose sounds good. Didnt option or try the burmeister but option cost in Australia is crazy.
7) My normal driving modes are Sport setting for gearbox, engine and suspension. PSE on and Auto start stop off.
I promise all I will upload pics soon. Loving this car!
