Seems like every car forum I go to usually eventually has some type of meet up, usually in some crappy restaurant/bar with a big parking lot. Thinking of mabye organizing something up for us So Cal owners. What do you guys think?

Ok well if we get a few guys around who want to meet up and check out each other's rides I'd be happy to organize it. We can pick a centralized location thats convenient for all of us.

 

Maybe OC? That way some of us can head up from SD.

 

Malibu is always good - not far from the valley for that crowd, and close to the west side of LA...just a thought...plus some fun roads!

 

I live on one of those roads, so Malibu works for me. No shortage of crappy restaurants either

I think what we can do is arrange a sat or sun lunch meet where we can eat than meet each other/check out each other's rides. Than for those guys who came from far areas like SD, we can do a convoy through rodeo drive then up the snake on Muholland for fun, it is one of the best roads in Los Angeles to drive a 911. (Trust me it will be worth it!) I'd be willing to host a BBQ at my house in South Pasadena afterwards, wouldn't mind at all. I live on a historical street where they film lots of tv/movies. Let me know if the weekend sounds good for you guys. I'll set up a roll call thread to agree on a date.

I live in Malibu, not far from Muholland. Great road but not a good idea to let it rip on the weekend. LE everywhere as well as cyclists. Weekdays are much better but I realize that would eliminate a lot of folks.
