2013 C2S Cab Order - Input Needed

So, this is hopefully the week to finalize the details and get a new C2S Cab on order.

Here are the things I am relatively sure about:

• C2S – Cab
• 7-Speed manual
• Dark Blue Metallic
• Cabriolet roof in black
• Luxor Beige Interior
• Premium Package Plus
• Sport Chrono
• Sport Exhaust
• Power Sport Seats with Full Leather
• Park Assist
• Multi-function steering wheel
• Steering column in leather
• Porsche crests in headrest
• Telephone module
• Voice Control

Now some options that I am on the fence about:

• Painted keys
• Buremester vs. Bose
• Sport Design – like the back not sure about the front
• Delete the model designation
• Add “911”
• PDCC – probably not, but…
• Dashboard trim strip in leather
• Sport Chrono dial in Luxor Beige
• Electronic Logbook

I realize that many of these are just matters of personal preference. However, the local dealers do not have a lot of these features on the lot so you have to look at tiny pictures on your PC. I was hoping that some people may own or have seen different combinations.

I was trying to keep my build to around $130K. But, if I did it all the total is more like $140K. So, I am not sure that do it all is viable.

Thanks in advance

Rob

Not my car but, I have midnight blue with sand beige interior and my top is blue, not black, seems to make the body color "pop" more than the black. IMHO!!

If you're going to do the trim in luxor leather, I would suggest going with the mahogany or better yet the carbon finish instead. I have a luxor beige interior and it's a little bit too much beige. To counter it, I threw in black rubber floor mats, but I wish the dash was black or had more black in it.

• Painted keys - Personal pref, first time you drop it though, off to the body shop ;-)
• Buremester vs. Bose - Burmester
• Sport Design – like the back not sure about the front - Not, don't like it as a package, use it for Burmester.
• Delete the model designation - Agree
• Add “911” - Personal pref
• PDCC – probably not, but… - IMO Not, lot of money for added weight & complexity, minimal gain. The standard suspension is already soooo good.
• Dashboard trim strip in leather - Not, get it exterior color along with column trim strip. With the Luxor interior it will look great! Look at it on 3D configurator.
• Sport Chrono dial in Luxor Beige - Kinda cheesy IMO, if you get one you might as well get all the dials in Luxor which I don't think is a great color for them.
• Electronic Logbook - Personal pref.

Now, something to think about. Deviate the carpet to blue (option #24951, $710) and then go with the beige top as FlaHeel suggested. The combo of
Dark Blue, Luxor, blue carpet & dark blue interior painted pieces would look stunning IMO.

Good luck with your choices!

Burmester? , really guys?, I have the Bose and drive my car in sport mode all the time and honestly, I cant enjoy the stereo with all the cabin noise, the sound symposer is a great but maybe too intrusive. I am not sure that this car deserves a top dollar stereo system, not the best enviroment to enjoy it.
I would go for the SD package instead.

I am going to differ a bit here...I agree with galion on the bose, mine is fine and I would put that money in the PDCC as i find the lack of any roll awesome on winding country roads. I prefer the sport steering wheel as it its a little thicker and feels great. I also have luxor biege and the only thing i don't like about that is the dash glare, look into the two-tone with black dash. One of the authors of an earlier thread went with that, i wish I had. Lastly, i got the sport pipes for looks without the exhaust and the sound is still awesome without the exhaust.

I agree if you are strictly going to use the car for fun, spirited drives. If you plan on using it for long drives at cruising speed (7th Gear), I think the Burmester is the way to go. The only thing you might want to test is how it is in the Cab vs. the Standard Coupe. It might not be worth it in the Cab.
