991 Turbo To Start Production In 2014
According to Porsche's CEO Matthias Müeller
"Do you have a timeline for the return of the 911 Turbo?
MM: It will start production in 2014."

and +1. I mean... - who would pay for a new 997.2 Turbo today? Even if I was about to get one, I'd prefer the 991 (not even knowing anything about it, yet).
Well as they say, good things come to those that wait right. Besides, the Turbo S is the one to get and that probably won't be out til a year after the Turbo comes out. Meanwhile, workout, eat right, get in shape so you at least look the part of a Turbo S owner. haha

Regardless, just thought I'd share this news as this was the first "official" word I had seen/heard.
Amen +1
Exactly, spoken like an experienced Porsche owner. The cost of a base turbo, plus an exhaust and a good tune is around 4-6K. At that point you are easy 600 HP, way more than a Turbo S, for waaaaaay less cash. And if you plan to track, uh, dont get PCCBs....just saying.

Search GT3 forum for PCCB issues
Take a look at the GT3 forum and you will see many guys do not recommend using PCCBs as they tend to not hold up well (brake fade and even disc warp) and are very costly to replace. I have them on my RS for the street, but when it goes to the track I change them out to aftermarket rotors, pads and calipers. Also have spoken with the instructors at Porsche driving school in Birmingham and most will admit that they dont hold up under serious race conditions.
Interesting, thanks for sharing! I kept reading on forums it was the opposite (useless for road, better for track). Sounds like you're saying the opposite? Or do you regret/not recommend them for road use either?

I think for the street they are awesome as they don't produce much brake dust, so my black wheels stay clean longer and they never squeal. My Turbo used to squeal if I didn't drive it a lot. Quick fix for that is to take them out higher speeds and stand on the brakes and wear any debris off. The PCCBs definitely stop faster and more llinear IMO than stock, but it's an expensive upgrade that will eventually be more costly to replace, even if you never go to the track. My Box S is going to be a daily driver, so I did not spend the extra for thE PCCB, as to me they are better, but not a good value. If I resale, no one will pay more for those. But to each his own, I had to stop somewhere and the car was already 84k and anymore for. Box S is getting silly.
Don't take my word for it on the track issues, check the GT3 Forum, the moderator Chuck and guys like Mikymu and sharky have tons of experience and posts i brakes and break replacements at the track and will comment. But lots of posts on the subject by guys with more track time than I have to be honest.
