Color Help - Platinum vs Agate Grey
I've had and liked them both. I live in Texas and I must say that in the summer, the Platinum Silver is a lot cooler. Part of that is an improved AC, but part of it is radiation absorption. They are both nice, but having said that, the Platinum Silver is my favorite Porsche color yet.

Went through the same debate. Thought silver made the door seam and quarter panel edges appear more pronounced or noticeable. Also thought silver was too common. Agate changes color with the variance in lighting conditions or so it seems to me. It's unique yet still under the radar as in it's not saying notice me as I'm screaming down the highway at an accelerated speed. Just my two cents.
Agate seems more popular, but imo platinum silver looks superb in the 991, shows the lines beautifully and as Vikingmariner said, it makes the car look wider.
Cant go wrong with both, but platinum silver is my favorite by far.

Unsurprisingly, my vote is for platinum as well. Superb color that really shows the form of the car. None of the standard colors do it and the metallic darker colors are not as pronounced. Platinum is not as understated as Agathe, but it doesn't scream "look I'm shiny!" either. It is a dull silver, like Platinum. Both are great colors, but PS takes the cake IMO.

OP: what color are you considering for the cabin? If you are going black, I'd rather go for PS... Same thing for the wheels BTW. I would consider Agathe grey if you like a lighter color inside the cabin and silver wheels.
Just my personal opinion... my car is white!
