Replaced Chrome with Leather around Center Console

Ordered the kit from Suncraft, which was back ordered for a bit. I think it looks great. Sorry the photos aren't better but you should get the idea --

Have you noticed a reduction in cabin glare?

I have a Luxor beige interior, but I'm thinking of going with the black leather like the original poster. I don't think carbon fiber would look as good.

The problem with the chrome is the damn finger prints on it all the time.

Nice. I wonder about the durability though and hope that its not easy to strip out?

hi grapesmc ..

looks really great ..

The leather centrer console option caused me the biggest dilemma when i was doing the specs for my C4S.. but i was told that it can be retro fitted .. so i went with the default chrome for my order..

Now im thinking to order the part from now so when the car arrives (Feb/march) il see how it goes

so .. just a couple of things

1- where did get the part from .. i googled "Suncraft" (as you said in ur post).. no results..

2- Did you fit the part your self or by dealer/specialist ?

3- if you did it your self ..was it straight forward and are there any specific tools required for this install ?

4- can you re-install the chrome .. or does it get damage when u remove it ?

would appreciate ur feedback on the above

Saint:

1) Oops, Mistyped Suncraft for Suncoast.
2/3) It was super easy to do. The older chrome one comes off quite easily. If you have any sort of plastic car tool, just work around the chrome and it pops out. You can see where it connects by looking at the new one.
4) Doesn't get damaged at all.
