I have a way at looking at the bad instead of all the good. I am sure its some childhood issue- But its all good - I am thinking the stock stereo may out do the bose...

Out do the Bose? Not sure about that.. It may not be worth the premium but I wouldn't say it sounds better than Bose. HD reciever may be a good option to have with the base system though.
Glad you're enjoying the car! The engine is the only stero you need..
