$20K off must be at or below cost. An '12s with the 991 design (some of the '12s had the previous 997 interior design) at that price sounds awfully good to me. Point of reference -- I just paid $71.5K for an CPO '09 997 C2S Cab with 10K miles.
Its a 991S
I thought thats pretty darn good deal- I believe it has black wheels & I want regular S wheels they will switch those also-
$19k off
Switch wheels
hopefully Using tax credit
I just am not rich and writing a check for $100k is a big deal! Its hard to get everything desired and spend $130k
The best part is I get to fly a few states away & drive her home!
Its like I am 10 years old on the last day of school and its 3.20pm

Same with me when it comes to stroking out checks in these amounts. Never thought I would spend this much on a car. But I tell you what -- there's nothing like it when you open these cars up on a nice windy country road. Enjoy the cruise back home!
131 miles its waiting on showroom...

I had also been concerned, but I'm not at all sorry that I went with the manual; this is the smoothest shifting manual transmission I've ever experienced, and the clutch travel is dead on. Not to mention that the rev-matching in the Sport-plus mode is the icing on the cake.
But, then again, it's all relative; some may find the manual an inconvenience if they do a lot of stop-and-go driving.
It's wise to be sure when you're spending this amount of money.
Good luck with your decision!
before I purchased my 991s I was debating the same question. I love manual and the 7speed is amazing. But after driving in my other manual car in BC the past few months, I realize its a PIA to park and all the uphill and parallel parking on downhill, so I decided to get the PDK instead, it totally is the best of both world. Do I miss manual yes, but in the long run, the PDK will be a better investment for me, I felt. Do test drive a PDK in sport plus mode and see how you like it. your deal sounds very good, I would pick her up, if you decide manual is the one for you.
My 7 Speed manual S is divine.
I had a PDK loaner, and with all due respect to all the PDK owners, it just wasn't for me.
Either way, PDK or MT are both very impressive, and you cannot go wrong with such a good deal.
Btw, MT also has the hill assist (anti-rollback feature) for those hilly situations. Just takes a little getting used to. (Not a problem seeing you live in Texas.)
How many miles on the clock?
