My New Racing Yellow 991 and Stable Mate
Hello All,
I just picked up a new 991 S Cab in which I traded a 997.2 S Cab in for and I absolutely love the improvements on the new car!! The PDK software is much more responsive than the 997.2 and the interior changes are wonderful!!
Also got a RR Ghost EWB for luxury cruising when I dont want to speed in excess
....
Enjoy!!

I'm In Long Island as well! We should set up a 991 Meeting!
Enjoy the 991. I, myself, sometimes breath a little on my wife's A8, and that is when I realize that I am too old for the 991.....the A8 feels so nice and smooth and comfortable!

Would love to have a 6 Speed Porsche meeting if anyone is interested on a weekend... It would be nice to meet others on the chat forum.
Ale70, let me know if you want to setup something...

I am all for a 6speed meeting. Maybe we should wait for the Holidays to be over and I'm sure some people from Manhattan would come as well. Maybe even Darren from Penn, so he can finish the Break In....
I also love the Ghost. Probably the only High Luxury Sedan with a Sinister look, without compromising any of the class....
Congratulations again!

Thanks for the kind words.
After the holidays would be great to set something up...
I have already broken in the Porsche from day one
Had a Phantom for 2 years which was drop dead gorgeous to look at, but had an outdated Nav screen, control *****, slow tranny, and very soft suspension in which you couldn't take a hard turn past 30 MPH. The Ghost is the opposite: up-to-date Nav screen and features such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Night Vision, Lane Warning, etc. The suspension is far superior to the Phantom as well as the transmission.
After 2 weeks, I am completely satisfied with the switch of both brands to the newer and more technological counterpart.

Nice additions!
I'm in Brooklyn and am expecting my C4S in January. I'm be down for an LI meetup at some point once the car arrives. Weeknights tend to be better for me than weekends, though.

Congrats! Love both of your cars!
As for the meet, I'm in 100% so just don't forget to include the NJ crew!! We should make a tri-state 991 meet. Perhaps someone should start suggesting a place for the meeting and a post to vote for a date?!

Sorry to the OP if this has turned into a thread-jacking, but...
If people in the NYC area would be interested I organized a group drive of Audi RS4's for 4 years that started in Manhattan and drove up to Bear Mountain and Harriman State Park for some of the awesome roads and lunch. It was a blast!
We usually got about 20-25 RS4s together for the drive.
I would be happy to work on the same for a spring 991 drive.
If people want me to start up another thread to gauge interest let me know.
Here are some photos from the drive I put together:

Love the suicide doors reminds of the old Lincoln Continentals.
