PSM Failure / Auto start stop failure warning

My car is a 2013 C2S only 5 days with 433 kilos on the meter

Yesterday i got 2 warnings saying PSM failure and the second says auto start / stop failure

Stopped at a gas station, turned the car off and on again and both warnings dissapperead.

Contacted the dealer this morning and he said this could be a software issue or a sensor failure

I googled these two warnings and got similar answers

So far the warning is not there and have been driving the car with no issues, should i worry about it? Should i take it to the dealer or just keep it for the 1500 kilos service ?

Am not that worried about the issue but just wanted to ask and see what do you guys think

Cheers

I'd take it back and have them check it out. It under warranty, it won't hurt to have them take a look.

I went to the quick service center already, where only minor checks can be preformed, they checked the car and said nothing is showing in the logs, and that i have to take it to the main service centre if i want it to be checked properly

Would not worry. Sand is like the devil. Had a Landcruiser out there once that sometimes had sensor/sand issues.

Same two warnings happened to me when I picked my car up in Germany. Told the delivery sales dude but he didn't do anything but pawn me off on my US dealer. The warnings haven't come back yet in 4k mi.

Car has about 5k on it today.

Happened to me once 3k miles ago when i turned on the car. turned it off and then back on, and never came back. Also happened to me after oil change at the dealer. Tech warned me prior that it would happen then go away on its own after 20-50 miles, which it did.

I've had this happen 3-4 times now. Only 850 miles on the car. It has only happened on 25+ mile trips.

Happened to me again (2/3 times in the past week) but it comes and goes away, usually disappear when the car is restarted, am not even 1% worried that i have a major problem but its annoying to have warnings in a brand new car and now it happens even more frequent, i took a video with my iPhone of the two warnings as they magically disappear as soon as i go to the dealer! I emailed that video to my dealer and he called today confirming that he will call me back ASAP with an answer of what this issue could be

Sounds like a sensor failure. Let us know what the dealer says and what the issue is.
