My 2014 Carrera has 8,438 miles on the odometer and has never had engine stumble/hesitation. I have owned the car for a little over a year and it drives flawlessly.

Don't think my neighbors would appreciate 1st gear all the way through the neighborhood! :-)

Just out of curiosity, if you're driving in stop light traffic, are you up at 5000-6000 RPM?

Sorry to sound snarky, but I've heard this before. Apparently people drive at redline all the time. But some people drive in the 2000 - 3000 RPM range. In fact, if you have PDK, I'm sure you're lower than that in "normal" driving.

I've been up and down the RPM spectrum with no hesitation. But it runs best when at higher (not redline) RPM's also it's much more fun! It confounds me at to how much Porsche owners complain about their cars but continue to buy them. Trust me my cars' not perfect but neither are Ferraris of Bugatti's either. I love my car; problems and all! Nothing beats the driving enjoyment I get versus all other pieces or iron! Have a great night! Hope you get your car running right for you

We're all glad you have a well-running car. Yes, we know it runs best at higher RPMS. My car is perfect above 3500 RPM. But then there is also an every day reality that says some of us are having stumbling issues at lower RPMS. I'm just not sure what your post is supposed to be doing to help the situation here.

Maybe he's just trying to give an example of how not to write a post. Comments that don't address the outstanding question, improper grammar, both bad and missing punctuation and just simply the wrong words demonstrate why one should not use a phone to post and why you should always proof-read before clicking "Submit Reply".

But we assume that he meant well.

Had the same problem with stumbling.. Numerous trips to the dealer with reflashes but the problem came back after a day of driving. What really cured it all was when I installed the IPD plenum. No more stumbling!

Sounds promising! Can you describe exactly what your car felt like before the IPD plenum was installed? What RPMs did you notice the stumbling?

I have this issue on my 2012 991 C2S PDK. Car is new to me, 11K miles.

When in 1st/2nd/3rd low in the revs, it stumbles around 2250 - 2500 rpm. It's just a short stumble, like a hiccup in the power delivery, almost as if your foot just lifted slightly off the accelerator. I notice it mostly in traffic, when progressively applying the gas pedal between 10-30% of travel. Don't notice it when the gas pedal is applied more aggressively.

As the thread states...Stumbling at 2500 to 3000 rpm. Under both moderate or aggressive acceleration. Feels like the air/ fuel ratio is wrong during the vario cam transition.
