After some rains which thankfully washed away the salt we had some dry but cloudy weather. I wrenched myself away from the forum and went for a drive. I can't begin to describe how much I love this car! Just sublime handling, power, and the noise.... I know that if they played the PSE soundtrack at any religious venue the attendance would skyrocket!

Back on topic. Although any excuse is good to take more pics of the car I also wanted to convey the changing shades of Platinum Silver on a cloudy and dull day. I've posted some similar pics before and are of a road right by my house.

While I love the shots of your beautiful car, I really envy that switch back curve in the road. Nothing like it here in SoFL.

The PSE, I'm told (since nobody else has driven my car yet), sounds much better from the outside than it does on the inside, even with the windows down and the sunroof open.

 

More AMAZING shots!! Can't get enough. Platinum Silver is really stunning, especially in how it reflects colors and different light. It's like a different color every time you see it. Thanks, as always, for taking the time to share.

I love your car. If I ever get tempted to trade for a 991, Platinum Silver it will be. I am pretty much a white or silver car guy, and since I have white now, the silver would be a great change.

Very nice as usual! I am convinced you trailer your 991 to various roads, take off the car cover, roll it off the trailer, take pics and roll it back on the trailer. Your car looks immaculate all the time!

 

Haku, awesome pictures! I only wish I had the photographic prowess to have pictures like those from my car.
On the other hand, I like your wheels! I have the stock Carrera S wheels, but I believe the satin platinum gives the car a more "racy" look. The thing is that painting the wheels is like a trip of no return in case I want to return to the stock look. Buying the same wheels on a different color would be crazy. Enjoy your beautiful roads!
