Guards red 2-stage paint?

Posting to see if anyone knows if 991 Guards Red has a 2-stage coat, one being the paint and the other a clear coat.

I have been doing some research to find some previous models do not! Not an expert so I'm asking! Thank you guys!

As far as I know, all Porsche factory paints for many years have had clear coat.

Single stage paint is no longer available due to enviro laws. All manufacturers now finish with a clear coat. So yes...it's two stage

Thanks guys...I was reading on some other forums...and we'll got a bit worried about the issue...also my biggest fear of oxidation to a red car = pink!!

Mind at ease....much appreciated

Hmmm, from what I see on the following link, it seems that it's 1-stage!

That touch up paint can be used on all guards red paint, going back decades. How the 991 is shot is multi-stage. You can tell if you have single stage by putting a little polish on a microfiber towel and rubbing your paint. If you see the color of the car on the towel, you most likely have single stage. If your towel has no color, then it has a clear coat

The 991's are done quite differently. Porsche built an entirely new paint shop for use on future cars, starting with the new 991. Start at about the 22 minute mark of this video to see how they paint the new 991's. I previously posted it in another thread so some of you might have seen it before lol But wow they went to some pretty amazing lengths to get that perfect paint.
