I usually try to park in between nice cars, so it's mutual interest to avoid dings. But I will never not go somewhere because I'm afraid about my car. After all that's why I pay for extra insurance.

The Mickey Mouse card is an oldie...I remember seeing 20+ years ago. A classic.

Like an idiot I went into a stand alone cinema theater and parked far from the entrance. Just before getting out, I notice this guy sort of "casing my car" but not going into the movie. I moved the car closer and stayed in it. He got a bit aggressive verbally and asked if "I had a problem". I called 911 but by the time they came he left with a bunch of guys who came a few minutes later to join him. The police officer agreed my car was probably about to get stolen or stripped.

No more movie trips for my 911 anymore. The theatre was not attached to a mall so they knew I would be away for at least 90 minutes plus the car was parked out of sight.

I usually park in corner spots or between two nice cars now but close to entrances.

sad that things like that have to happen. RT1 is a rough corridor. Lots of thieves cruise it.

It s a shame too that cinemas have become collecting zones for criminals. I stopped going to the movies about 10 years ago when I realized it was hooligan city every saturday night!

I always hunt for that lone spot at the mall with two pillars on both sides.

A few days after i got my 991 i found a large black shoe print on the front end of the hood, a cigarette butt on the windshield and one of the sensors was pushed in a little.

Some ****** probably decided to rest one of his dirty boots on my white car while he had a smoke then flicked it onto the windshield.

These stories make me so sad about the state of (some of) humanity. At the end of the day, a car is just a car, but how pathetic is it that we can't own a nice car without being worried people are going to senselessly vandalize and otherwise disrespect our property.
