the sound is amazing....your rev matching sounds were throwing me off until you mentioned the rev matching system...which I had no idea existed.

 

Nice video! Thanks for posting. The high RPM driving requirement reminds me of the 901 based 911s.

Rev matching happens when sport plus is engaged. On my test drive, my foot was going for the throttle when the car executed a perfect blip on its own. My first thought was "dang, that was perfect" then I realized it wasn't me!

That, combined with the incredibly precise shirt feel and with the burbles and pops you hear when the loud button is on, makes me feel like my turbo was truly from another era.

The only thing that's missing is low end grunt - which I got used to in a week.

 

Thanks for your comments, guys ! I really loved the rev-matching eventhough I'm used to heel&toe, I just think no human could do it better and on a track, it might get you closer to your friends in the PDK cars than they might believe

Great review! Do the boxter/cayman also get rev match when equipped with sc package? I have a 370z with rev match and can't get enough of it.

 

Can't wait to watch this tomorrow (need to turn up the volume) considering adding this to my stable

 

It looks great. Certainly makes me wonder what I want more PDK vs rev-match 7 speed. I've always been a 3 pedaler but the fact that my wife could more easily drive the PDK makes me wonder....decisions decisions.

 

I messed up and drove a 370Z with this feature. It is pretty cool.

 

That's what convinced me to get a 7MT

 

Do I understand correctly that it only works in Sport+? It seems like it should be configured to work in Sport also.

Correct, sport+ only.

I have a Nov build c2 with 7MT and SC and do not have the rev match feature. Is this available in the C2, and if so is it only on more recent build dates?
