Agreed the cayenne is fantastic. Before I had my 911 I was one of those fools hauling *** in a v8 tt x5. Always thought the handling was good, albeit for an suv. Now when I get in it I can't stand the lean every turn. Clearly I was joking, proud to say in my first 1000 miles, which only took two weeks, I have declined several challenges to race. My version of street racing is time trials when nobody is in sight.

I've driven both . I own a V6 Cayenne (Gf's DD) .

Regarding the Cayenne Turbo /GTS and future potential of PDK --
Obviously these (991 Vs Ctt) are very different vehicles but they share one thing in common when it comes down to one point --acceleration . None will embarass the other .

In fact Porsche isn't the first company to build an SUV capable of running with its peformance cars .

Not the Cayenne S Hybrid. Had one for a few days as a loaner. High center of gravity, sluggish and poor handling. It's like they slapped a Porsche emblem on a Tahoe

I'm currently trying to sell the wife on getting rid of our CR-V, and get a used Cayenne... The problem is those CR-V's last for-ev-er. I'm waiting for it to die... and it just won't.

Anybody know how to kill a CR-V and make it look like an accident?

*edit: Sorry - I didn't realize we were still on the 991 forum... Seriously - I just looked at the title.

+1, had the exact same experience. If mileage matters, go for the diesel. Otherwise, a regular S, or even a base, is a more enjoyable drive.
