Sirius - sales call to sign up
Sirius - sales call to sign up
So Sirius called the other day. My wife answered. As the rep tried to sell a subscription to the service now that our free trial had expired, my wife cut him off, saying that her husband had expressed no interest in signing up for Sirius.
Rep - "Well, then what does he use to listen to music in the car?"
My wife - "He says he only needs to listen to the engine."
Rep - pause, then "Well, that's a great answer! Thank you for your time!" and hangs up.

I am always a simple downshift away from the most glorious harmonies ever known to man (as available within this price bracket, of course).

Hehe... they really do employ some ******** there! I dread having to talk to them...
Sirus-ly won't leave me alone....
Ha, I was able to heat my whole house this winter without the furnace simply by burning excess Sirus letters I got in the mail.

BTW, your avatar image is so so dostrockting
whilst I'm typing! I think you owe some explanation for it!

As for Sirius, even if it were free I wouldn't use it. Normal radio is fine for what little I listen to music in the car. The real-time traffic updates are interesting for use with the GPS, but that is something that Google provides for free in Google Maps / Navigation, so I have no interest in paying for that either.
Hmmm I think I need a new 4WD Range Rover.... maybe the Evoque....maybe something else.... but I need something! HELP!!!!
Wife is going through this right now in her car... She listens to the radio a lot more than I do. Prices are acceptable, but more than I expected.
I'd purchase quickly, but there is an issue combining my car and hers. Apparently, I have a native XM receiver, and she has a native Sirius receiver, and the two can't be combined (as of last year).
