PCM Bluetooth (991)

Is bluetooth connectivity (hands-free) standard in the PCM module?

Then I actually don't need option 619 Mobile phone preparation (HFP).

You are correct - Bluetooth is standard in PCM. I did not purchase phone preparation and Bluetooth works no problem.

Yes it is standard. I actually made the same mistake and was able to delete it from my order after the dealer explained it to me.

Just wonder if this is for US only. Did you purchase the 666 PCM option, or is that standard as well?

If it really adds no value to buy the 619 option for people who spec PCM, then why do they charge for it? Seems like a rip-off if there really is 0 added value. I paid over 500 euro for it.

This is confusing, is SAP bluetooth standard and HFP an option? Apple iPhone does not support SAP.

I was told that this option allows you to insert a SIM card which allows the use of an internal phone and number for the car. No need to use your own cell phone. I have no idea if this info is correct.

Yes, exactly. This option adds a SIMcard slot so you can use your car as a cellphone. You would need another SIM card or ask your operator for a double-SIM card service (usually paying more)

666 adds a sim slot, 619 doesnt as far as i know, it just adds bluetooth support, which is already part of PCM :S

You guys are mixing up the different options.

There are two phone options:
666 Telephone module (sim slot & bluetooth)
619 Mobile phone preparation (hfp)

The question is if option P23 (PCM) include bluetooth connectivity, without any additional options?

P23 PCM is standard in North America not in Europe, might be that 619 Mobile phone prep (HFP) also is part of that standard package?

That's the thing, it isn't part of that package. You can pay the full premium, without getting a warning in the configurator that those features are already part of the PCM that is selected.

PCM (P23) is not standard equipment in LATAM markets, and it doesnt supports Bluetooth unless you order 619 (Mobile Phone prep)
You need to order both.
I think the same applies to European markets.
