Probably $25 at a shop? It literally is just taking the wheels off, putting on the spacers, putting the wheels back on. If you have a jack, you can do it yourself in probably 20 minutes.

Its really easy. Just an FYI, if you have the C4, consider 18mm rear (RSS). I have 7mm in front but think it would fill better at 10mm.

Any profile pics? Just wondering how flush the wheels are with the body.

I've decided after due consideration that I'll either purchase the spacers from Porsche as part of my order or else forego installing them altogether. I don't trust some aftermarket bolts that might fail because they aren't made of the right material or hardened properly just to save some money. Porsche only sells very high quality products and doesn't source stuff from China. I've asked my salesman if Porsche offers wider spacers but if all they offer is 5mm, then I'll trust their engineers that 5mm is prudent and that the bolts they use are engineered to withstand the forces that they'll be subjected to. If it were something cosmetic like a carpet mat, I'd buy aftermarket but when it comes to safety, I won't second guess Porsche.

Good point. I do trust H&R as I've had wheels from them. I just don't know how wide is safe. I don't want my car to look boy-racer-ish.

45mm is 1.77". The tires would protrude outside the wheel well. Sounds almost cartoonish.

It was suggested to me if you do spacers, you should also lower the car.not sure I want to affect ride quality, and lowering would affect winter driving I assume.

Speed ware can you PM me some options for larger rims

Maybe because they wanted to sell you more parts and service? Can't see why you'd "need" to lower it.

No kidding! I have H&R 7mm for $67 a pair and $6 each for bolts. $500 bucks for factory? Are they gold? Wow.

Just tried them and they fit perfect. A little too wide for my taste, plus I already have the 5mm all around.

So---17mm OEM, used 2 months, for sale! PM if interested.
